Everyone in the bar was trying very hard not to stare at him.
Yet every pair of eyes kept drifting back. It was impossible not to.
Jeon Jungkook sat in the large VIP lounge like he owned the entire building — which, technically, he could if he wanted to.
Dim amber lights glowed above the expensive leather sofa he occupied. His broad frame was relaxed against the backrest, one arm stretched across it casually, the other holding a glass of whiskey he had barely touched.
Around him stood nearly fifteen bodyguards, dressed in black, silent, and alert like shadows.
The music of the bar still played, glasses still clinked, people still laughed — but the energy in the room had shifted the moment he walked in.
Power had a presence.
And Jungkook carried it like a weapon. He knew people were watching him. He was used to it.
The whispers. The curiosity. The fascination.
He was attractive — dangerously so — and he knew it. The sharp jawline, dark intense eyes, the quiet authority in the way he moved. It was the kind of presence that made people curious… but also afraid.
No one dared approach.
Not unless they had a death wish.
Across from him sat his manager, Min, nervously adjusting his glasses while glancing at a tablet in his hands.
“This scandal is spreading fast,” Manager Min said carefully. “Articles are already circulating. If this continues, it will severely damage both your reputation and the company's image.”
Jungkook swirled the whiskey slowly in his glass, watching the liquid move like amber smoke.
“I don’t care what people think of me,” he said flatly.
His voice was calm. Too calm.
Manager Min cleared his throat. “But the company—”
“I know.” Jungkook’s gaze lifted.
Sharp. Cold.
“If it were about me, I’d let them talk until they got bored.”
His lips twitched slightly, not quite a smile.
“But Jeon Corporation’s reputation is different.”
He leaned back again, eyes dark with quiet calculation.
“That,” he murmured, “is worth fixing.”

Across the bar floor, Y/N was wiping down the counter when the owner suddenly appeared beside her.
“Y/N,” he whispered urgently.
She looked up. “Yes, sir?”
“The VIP lounge needs drinks. Personally served.”
He glanced nervously toward the guarded section. “Make sure everything is perfect.”
Y/N followed his gaze. Her eyes briefly landed on the heavily guarded area where the most powerful man in the country was currently sitting.
Jeon Jungkook.
Even she knew that name. Everyone did. CEO of Jeon Corporation.
Billionaire. Dangerous. Untouchable.
But she only nodded calmly. “I’ll take it.”
She arranged the drinks on a tray with steady hands. Years of working in the bar had taught her how to move with quiet efficiency.
Simple clothes. Tired eyes. A girl carrying the weight of responsibilities no one else could see.
She picked up the tray and walked toward the VIP section. Each step closer made the air feel heavier.
The bodyguards parted just enough to let her through.
Manager Min was still talking when she arrived.
“…we need a public response soon, sir. Investors are asking—”
The conversation paused for only a second as Y/N stepped forward. She placed the drinks on the glass table carefully.
One. Two. Three.
Her movements were calm, professional. And strangely indifferent.
She didn’t glance at Jungkook. Not even once. Not at his face. Not at his intimidating presence. Not at the fact that half the room was afraid of him.
As if his existence meant absolutely nothing to her.
“Your drinks,” she said softly. Then she stepped back. And left.
Quietly. Without another word. Without even sparing him a second look.
For the first time that night—
Jeon Jungkook’s attention shifted.
Not lazily. Not casually.
But with the slow, deliberate focus of a predator noticing something unusual in its territory.
His eyes followed the girl as she walked away.
No hesitation. No nervous glances. No stolen looks.
She hadn’t even looked at him. Not once. The glass in Jungkook’s hand paused mid-air.
Interesting.
Most people reacted the same way around him. They stared too long. They tried to impress him. Or they were visibly terrified.
But this girl?
She had walked into a room full of armed guards, placed the drinks down in front of one of the most powerful men in the country—
And left.
Like he was nothing more than another customer.
For a brief moment, the corner of Jungkook’s mouth lifted.
A slow smirk. Not warm. Not amused.
The kind that appeared when something unpredictable crossed his path.
“Min.”
Manager Min looked up immediately. “Yes, sir?”
Jungkook’s gaze was still on the bar floor where the girl had disappeared.
“We’ll finish this tomorrow.”
Min frowned slightly. “But the scandal—”
“Tomorrow.” The single word carried enough authority to end the conversation.
Min closed his tablet instantly. “Yes, sir.”
Within seconds, he was gone. The VIP area grew quieter. But Jungkook didn’t move.
His mind, sharp and calculating, replayed the scene. The calm way she walked. The quiet confidence. The complete lack of interest.
People fascinated him when they behaved differently.
And this girl…
She had just passed a test she didn’t even know she was taking.
Jungkook stood slowly.
Tall. Intimidating.
Dangerous in the effortless way power clung to him.
He walked toward the private VIP room.

One of the bodyguards opened the door immediately.
Inside, the room was silent.
Jungkook sat down, resting one arm against the chair, his fingers tapping slowly against the surface.
Once.
Twice.
Then he spoke.
“Call the owner.”
The command was quiet. But commands from Jeon Jungkook were never ignored.
Moments later, the bar owner rushed inside, already sweating.
“M-Mr. Jeon…”
Jungkook didn’t look at him immediately.
His gaze remained fixed on the doorway, as if expecting someone to walk through it.
“The girl.”
The owner blinked. “S-Sir?”
Jungkook finally lifted his eyes. Cold. Sharp.
The kind of gaze that made men forget how to breathe.
“The one who served the drinks.”
Understanding dawned on the owner’s face. “Oh— yes, sir.”
Jungkook leaned back in his chair, the faint smirk returning to his lips.
“Send her here.”
The owner nodded quickly. "Of course, sir.”
Jungkook’s fingers stopped tapping. Then he added quietly— “Alone.”
The room went still. The owner swallowed. “Y-Yes, Mr. Jeon.”
And somewhere outside the room—
Y/N had no idea that Jeon Jungkook had just decided he wanted to meet her.

The knock on the door felt louder than it should have.
Y/N hesitated for a second outside the private VIP room, her fingers tightening slightly around the tray she still carried out of habit.
Why would someone like Jeon Jungkook call her?
Had she done something wrong earlier?
Did she spill something? Did she speak out of turn?
Her heart beat a little faster.
She pushed the door open slowly.

The room was darker than she expected.
Most of it was swallowed by shadows, the thick curtains blocking the neon lights of the bar outside. Only a single lamp in the far corner cast a dim golden glow, barely illuminating the space.
For a moment, her eyes struggled to adjust.
Then she saw him.
Or rather—
his silhouette.
Jeon Jungkook sat in the armchair like a figure carved out of darkness itself. One long leg crossed over the other, his broad shoulders relaxed but powerful against the backrest.
Even in the dim light, his presence filled the entire room.
The faint glow from the lamp outlined the sharp angles of his body — the straight posture, the strong line of his jaw, the shadow of dark hair falling slightly over his forehead.
Still.
Silent.
Watching.
Y/N suddenly felt very aware of how small the room was. And how alone she was in it.
Her fingers curled slightly at her sides..He could see her too. Not perfectly. Just enough.
Enough to make out the shape of her standing hesitantly by the door.
Enough to notice the tension in her posture.
Enough to feel the way the air shifted with her nervous breath.
But his face remained unreadable.
No smile. No smirk. No emotion.
Just a pair of dark eyes fixed on her like she was something he was carefully studying.
The silence stretched.
Heavy. Uncomfortable.
A hundred questions began racing through Y/N’s mind.
Why had he called her here?
Was she in trouble?
Had she offended him somehow?
Her throat felt dry. Then his voice broke the silence.
Low. Controlled.
And cold enough to send a chill down her spine.
“Don’t stand by the door.”
The command was quiet.
But it didn’t sound like something meant to be ignored. “Come inside.”
Her feet moved before her mind fully caught up.
One step..Then another.
The door closed behind her with a soft click. The sound felt final.
Jungkook’s gaze followed every movement. Still expressionless. Still silent.
“Closer.”
Her heart skipped. She obeyed. When she stopped again, he spoke once more.
“Stand in front of me.”
Now she could feel the weight of his stare more clearly.
The dim lamp barely touched his face, leaving most of it in shadow — but she could see enough to know that he wasn’t smiling.
Not even a little.
There was something unsettling about the way he looked at her.
Not like a man looking at a waitress.
But like a man measuring something.
Testing it.
Y/N swallowed. Had she really done something wrong?
“I— did I make a mistake earlier, sir?” she asked quietly, her voice almost careful.
No answer. Only silence.
Then Jungkook moved.
Slowly. Deliberately.
He uncrossed his legs and stood.
The movement alone changed the entire atmosphere of the room.
He was tall. Much taller than she had realized. And broader.
His presence suddenly felt closer. More suffocating.
He took a few unhurried steps forward until he stood directly in front of her.
About a meter away.
Close enough for her to feel the tension in the air.
Close enough for her to notice how calm he looked.
Dangerously calm. His dark eyes remained locked on her face.
Studying. Searching. Evaluating.
Y/N’s pulse quickened.
Her mind kept trying to understand what he wanted.
But Jungkook said nothing for several seconds.
Then—
his voice dropped lower.
Dark.
Commanding.
The kind of tone that didn’t ask.
It ordered.
“Strip.”
